The story

Shot where it started

ROOT was a drop about where we come from: the places that raised us, the people who stood with us, and the culture we carry everywhere we go.

We shot it in Ibadan, in two places that hold the city's history. Inside Adebisi Mansion, among carved chairs and old green walls, and up at Bower's Tower, the hilltop landmark that looks out over the city. The clothes needed to stand next to history and still feel like now.

Seven pieces made the drop: the Nexus baggy jorts and Nexus baggy joggers, the Root boxy tee and Root cropped boxy shirt, the Nox mini skirt, and two tanks, the Cypher women's tank and the Onyx men's tank. Relaxed shapes and Aurum graphics you can spot from across the street.
