GTCO Fashion Weekend 2026 opens in Lagos with a Streetwear Hub
GTCO Fashion Weekend 2026 runs on 7 and 8 November at the GTCentre in Oniru, Lagos, with 12 designers on the runway and a dedicated Streetwear Hub.
Business Post Nigeria reports that the event is free and open to all, from 10 am to 10 pm each day, under the theme "Fashion Is Timeless". It also features masterclasses and 140 curated fashion retail stores.
The runway lineup
Day one, 7 November, features Tongoro, FIA Factory, Ibrahim Fernandez, Washington Roberts, Maison Sara Chraibi and Imane Ayissi. Day two, 8 November, features Sukeina, House of Marvee, Selam Fessahaye, Kim Shui, Ohlanna Bu Zikora and LaQuan Smith.
Marie Claire Nigeria highlights two of the names. Ibrahim Fernandez is the self-taught Ivorian designer who made the orange jackets worn by the Côte d'Ivoire national team at the 2026 World Cup, with an elephant motif across the back. House of Marvee, founded in 2018 by Marvelous Olugu and known for beading and corsetry, will show its SS27 collection, "Coalescence".
A year-round platform
GTCO chief executive Segun Agbaje said the organiser is introducing the GTCO Fashion Collective, a year-round network linking designers, models, stylists, photographers, editors, buyers and creators beyond the weekend itself, according to Business Post Nigeria.
